Here is another idiot horse getting a heart massage. Sometimes they just won't listen to reason. I showed this to a couple folks in the Northeast and they all made a funny, scolding face. I can't help but think it's a result of differing attitudes about the horse as a species: is it a pet, with it's own intrinsic value, or is it livestock, the worth of which is necessarily dependent on it's functional utility, revenue opportunities and obedience. |
